Anti-Christian Incumbent Judges Overwhelmingly Defeated in the Largest Counties in Florida

TAMPA -/  When Christian political groups and Values Voters unite, big things happen.  In South Florida voters convincingly confirmed the growing influence of South Florida's Christian vote by electing attorney Stephen Millan to a Circuit Judgeship in what was seen as a huge victory against anti-Christian judges. Millan won with more votes than any other candidate in South Florida, a total of 98,422 votes cast, when he handily beat the incumbent.  Milan was endorsed by United Christians of Florida – Political Action Committee on their popular www.UnitedChristiansOfFlorida.com website and was determined to be “CFC-Qualified” by the Miami-based Christian Family Coalition...

Boehner's Biggest Betrayal - Should Be His Last As Speaker

Are there ANY True Patriots remaining in Congress?

WASHINGTON D.C. - / News Times Journal / - Apparently, when John Boehner goes into private negotiations with President Obama and Senate Leadership it is to cut the throat of conservatives and the American people.  All done behind closed doors, of course.  That is exactly what happened tonight as Boehner, the RepubliCon Speaker from Ohio, brought Senate originated "Fiscal Cliff" legislation to the US House for a vote that relied totally upon the loyalty of socialist Demonrats in Congress to pass.  Granted, they needed a mere minority of fellow RepubliCons to officially break one of the Republican Party's primary 2012 Election planks of - NO new taxes.

"Tonight is one of the lowest points that Republicans have ever had," decried Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer, "...look how much (the President/Democrats) gained tonight and they gave away - nothing!"

In return, the Republicans got absolutely NO spending cuts. Which might cause someone to ask...

Brash NEW Republican Leadership To Favor A Modified Rich Surtax?

WASHINGTON D.C. - / News Times Journal / - After being shut out of meetings with the Obama Administration and stripped of GOP leadership positions, discussions of a NEW Republican Leadership team are gaining firm roots.  Conservatives elected to Congress are not only feeling like they are continuing to be set-up, but increasingly taken for granted and now shut-out of what are surely smoke-filled back rooms (Obama, Boehner meetings) with plenty of Chicago-style deals being made.

Recently, conservative Congressman Justin Amash (Rep. MI) wisely commented about designated Speaker John Boehner, "I wouldn't be surprised if his actions have caused him to be a little more concerned about negotiations and the kind of damage he might do to his own political situation if he negotiates a bad deal," says Michigan Republican Rep. Justin Amash.

Even the progressive-socialist/communist Congressman (Dem. MD) Chris Van Hollen, gave his opinion, "I am getting increasingly concerned that one of the reason's the Speaker is going to string out these discussions is that he wants to wait until Jan. 3 when the election for speaker takes place..."

"FREE Obama Phones for Votes" Scheme Earns An FEC Complaint

WASHINGTON DC, / NewsTimesJournal / -- A Complaint was filed on Tuesday with the Federal Elections Commission, in Washington, DC, outlining how the Obama Administration, the Obama Campaign, and ultimately President Obama perverted federal law and created the "FREE Obama Phones for Votes" scheme.

Using an old law passed in the 1980's for a well intended program called Lifeline, the original purpose was to help residents of distant rural communities to get landline phone service with an interest in aiding them with emergency and health-centered needs.

At least that is how it functioned until the Obama Administration got the idea that it could use Lifeline to extort extra service fees from current cell phone customers and link it with other welfare programs to instantly qualify millions of potential voters for an additional welfare program.

That is right, IF you are a current recipient of one of a number of federal welfare payouts, you are entitled to a FREE Obama Phone cell phone, 250 FREE minutes each month and text messaging, plus more free minutes by...

Abduction and Child Slavery Coming to Your Neighborhood

A protective father speaks out and a victim recounts her tragedy.

CLEARWATER - / News Times Journal / I'm a devoted Dad, so please pardon the salty language here.  I'm still calming down. This week I accosted (in the dark, alone and unarmed,) a very big dude peeping through one of my daughters' bedroom windows as she was getting dressed.

It was 5:20am, Wednesday. My 15-year-old, as she dressed for school, saw one of our cats acting agitated as he looked out of her window to the street.  She saw movement on the sidewalk, about 50' from the house.  Since it was dark outside, she turned out her light (good move - she listened to my preaching: "street smarts").

There was a man, 6'1-6'3"", walking slowly up the walk.  At the neighbors' house, he turned, walked back, looking occasionally at our house, turned again, walked the other way, turned, looked at the house one more time, and then sped up dramatically, quickly cutting across the grass directly toward the house...

An Open Letter from a Former Muslim: Enough is Enough

OPINION, /Christian Newswire/ -- The following is submitted by Majed El Shafie:

My name is Majed El Shafie. I was arrested, tortured and sentenced to die in Egypt after converting from Islam to Christianity. I managed to escape and with the help of the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), I eventually settled in Canada from where I now fight for those persecuted around the world.

We have seen the news reports in recent days of Muslims protesting throughout the world, killing the American ambassador and three other Americans in Libya, over a film they claim insults their prophet. The filmmaker is in hiding, flags have been burned and trampled, and though it may not have been reported on the major news networks, Bibles are being burned and vulnerable Christians are being attacked in countries half a world away.

Many here in the West have been perplexed or alarmed by these events, especially after our soldiers risked their lives last year to support the people of Libya against Colonel Qaddafi's forces. The irony is thick...

Return to the Military Draft a Real Possibility

VIRGINIA - / News Times Journal / -- Returning  to the military draft may be a real necessity just to keep our foreign assets secured, if something does not change with America's Foreign Policy crisis.  "There are far too many hot-spots in the world and concerns are mounting that we may not have enough boots on the ground to satisfy security needs,"  claimed a military recruiter who requested we keep his name anonymous to protect his career.

That seems to be the common theme among  many military experts that have seen chaos erupt worldwide in response to the Obama Administration support for radical revolutionaries in foreign nations as well as "Occupiers" in our own country.  "I speak with young people every day who are considering military service as an option in life.  As each person leaves, I can't help but think that we will be seeing them again whether they like it or not, because their choice will be made for them...

Welfare Board Game Graphically Portrays 'Obozo's America'

ANNAPOLIS, Md.,  /Christian Newswire/ -- Inventor Robert Bowie Johnson, Jr. today announced that his board game, "Obozo's America: Why Bother Working for a Living?" highlights and graphically portrays what has emerged as the key issue in the presidential election: Obama's ever expanding welfare state versus Romney's "an America that works."

Game players begin on the first of the month at the welfare office with an initial grant of $1,000 then maneuver along "Obozo's Welfare Promenade," getting cash for producing out-of-wedlock children, by drawing from 50 "Welfare Benefit" cards, by playing the lottery and the horses, and by engaging in four "Saturday Night" crimes (Prostitution, Armed Robbery, Gambling, and Drugs). Players can also get a job for their live-in on the "Government Cakewalk," and if they are caught in crime, experience the "Jail Jaunt" -- one roll of the dice and they're back at the welfare office collecting all benefits.

Players try to avoid landing on one of the dreaded "Get a Job" blocks that forces them off Obozo's Welfare Promenade into the "Working Person's Rut" where, with few exceptions, they accumulate bills, new taxes, and mounting debt. Hey, somebody has to pay for all the welfare, crime, and

Created Equal: 'Your Cell Phone Camera Can Change the World'

COLUMBUS, Ohio
/Christian Newswire/ -- CNN and your cell phone camera are now on an even playing field.  Think about it.  Most news is not covered by film crews from a local or national TV station anymore.  News is more often captured by someone who was at the right place at the right time.  Capitalizing on this new phenomenon, Created Equal, a national pro-life organization, is helping America's youth to become their own producers.  We are training students to use this newfound outreach tool to change hearts and minds about abortion.
Examples of the power of social media to change public opinion abound.  This is evident in today's social action movements.
  • In 2009-2010, Iranian election protests demonstrated how social networking sites are more quickly and more easily mobilizing large numbers of people.  Neda Agha-Soltan was shot in the chest while watching an anti-government demonstration...

Our President vs. We The People

TAMPA / News Times Journal /  -  Our President and We the People have been weighed on the scales according to God’s righteousness and justice prevailing throughout the land. As proclaimed by Psalm 89:14, "Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne..."

Therefore, God’s verdict has been rendered, and on our present path, heed the Word of the Lord based on the book of Daniel Chapter 5 which exclaims, “Tekel: You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting.”

If we do not change course, we can expect to reap the rest of this passage which says  “Mene: God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end and Peres: Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.”

As is the case in which the final judgment or decree of any court...

Old Testament Prophecy - Relevent For Today

"For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us;
And the government will rest on His shoulders;
And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace,
On the throne of David and over his kingdom,
To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness
From then on and forevermore.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.”
~ Isaiah 9:6-7 (NASB)

Today, January 21, 2013, American citizens celebrate the life achievements of the late Martin Luther King, Jr., who was an important civil rights activist and also an advocate of non-violent protests, becoming one of the youngest men to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. King’s most infamous speech “I Have a Dream” was delivered at a march on Washington, D.C. on August 28, 1963.

Needless to say, almost fifty (50) years later, the dream God placed on King’s heart has come to pass.  Today, as we commemorate King’s birthday, Barack Hussein Obama II, another young...
